reflection for 3/22

On Thursday Brian and i continued our research. We looked up some other countries foreign policies and how that played into Hitlers ability to gain so much power. Like the U.S.A. and England, many countries of that time had isolationist ideas and wanted to avoid war at all cost. after they had seen what the first world war had done to everyone, the last thing they wanted was to go through it again. on top of that , even if they wanted to go to war, Spain was in its own civil war and had no way of stopping Hitler on its own.

reflection for class of 3/20

Last class we had the quiz so Brian, Bijal and I reviewed for the quiz in the beginning of class. Soon after the quiz there was a lock-down drill which took up a chunk of time. After that, with the little remaining time we had we discussed how we were going to present the project and we decided to use the capzles website. We are going to break it into a few smaller time lines of many different countries and people, and how they let this happen over time.

reflection for 3/16

Last Friday, Brian and I continued some research on the foreign policy of the United States and their isolationist ideals. After this we researched the policy of Appeasement in the English government. This was a policy of keeping out of every ones business. I think this has a very big effect on how hitler was allowed to become so powerful and his authority went unchecked by other governments for so long.

Friday, March 16, 2012

Well last class Brian and I did not have much time because we spend the majority of the class setting up blogs for each of us since we only had one computer between us. When that was finally done, in the little time we had left I did a little research on the U.S.A. Forgien policy during the late thirties and early forties. I found that they had an isolationist policy and I think that greatly contributed to their decision to enter the war so late.
